Slave labor. It's the only way. You do realize the US has some of the highest wages when it comes to labor. You know you are fucked when you have to move your operations to a third world, build the infrastructure, then ship it to the states for distribution. All on the cheap. Thank your local politician.

NTA, There isn't any, honestly. Can you think of a good higher end action figure from the US?

Economies of scale. Get cheaper by mass-producing to where they out-produce the Chinese factories. But that's hard to do thanks to unions that always inflate the cost of production because dag-gummit that guy with a GED has a right to earn $20 an hour. The unions don't care about global competition, and quite the opposite believe that the American government should protect their jobs in spite of the higher production costs.

Well you see, once the Bandai factory farmers plant the Bandai factory seeds the Bandai figure factories should be fully grown and functioning by next spring. Then it's as easy as turning it on and we're good to go. We'll have our American made 30 dollar high quality import level figures in no time. Trust the process.

Simply don't pay the higher ups more money than God, that's all. They can make money without it being ALL the money. Look at costco.

Then find a way to price-compete while factoring in unions. If you do that then you'll do what no Ph.D economist has been able to do, and will probably win a Nobel Peace Prize in economics for doing it.

No, there isn't any aside from small companies that do super limited runs like Boss Fight, Fresh Monkey, etc but those types aren't creating the same type of Mafex/SHF style figures. There is just no equal comparison.

Bro, they are the ones controlling the cash flow. Nobody is paying them, they are paying themselves.

Higher-ups get paid two ways: first with their official salary which is rarely more than $10 million/year to manage a global corporation, and secondly is through the gains in the value of their stocks. They simply make more money when their stocks are worth more money. That comes from making the company do better.

They're not the problem like you're programmed by leftist schoolteachers into thinking. Quite the opposite tying their pay to the company's performance directly compels them to make a company as successful as possible.

i agree with that except that a ceo doing a shitty job will see more money in a year than the 99% of the company's employees will likely see in their lives.
Believing theres not a better middle ground somewhere is as bad as the brainwashed lefty

Mafex poseability is a little overrated and for some people that’s a big dealbreaker. Many are happy with the Maximum figure. Personally, I’m waiting for the new Figuarts and I’ll just deal with the cost, but I totally understand why some wouldn’t ever drop $100 on a single figure just on principle. There’s just so many options at this point, that this really isn’t an issue.

I dont want competition. I'd rather they supplement each other by making other characters we need instead of the same ones

At this point what spider-man character hasn’t been made? All I can think of is first appearance Mary Jane or like the side character that had the venom robot in Peni Parker’s comic

Hell, if I know. Also Design/multiverse variants are an idea, like the iron armor variants Sentinel does or whatever original thing and/or the multiple versions of Dr. Octopus

Cardiac is getting a fig for the first time soon, and Vermin is actually pretty highly requested and still hasn’t received a figure. There’s also supporting characters like Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant, Uncle Ben, etc. although several supporting characters have received figures like MJ, Gwen Stacy and J Jonah Jameson. There’s also Peter’s alter egos who went on to become their own characters, the “Slingers” Ricochet, Hornet, Produgy and Dusk. Which have actually been fairly requested. I mean, this could go on. There’s just A LOT of Spider-Man characters from 60+ years of comics.

I would have been more inclined to pick it up if it wasn't only a minor improvement over the like 8 other perfectly good Spider-man figures that have come out in the past five years while being at least double the price.

maximun
>is cheaper
>is sturdier
>has better proportions in spite of its giant feet
>looks cooler
>has better leg range
>scales better
>its more accesible
>you dont get raped by importations fees
>has about the same amount of accesories to the 075 and more than 185
>Paint doesn't chirp
>figure doesn't break
the mafex is fucking dogshit. the plastic is about as cheap as well, and the only reason people hate the maximun is because is a marvel legends
and the only reason the mafex is held in a high regard is because it was good at the time and is the quintissencial baby's first import
also funny how they always choose unflattering angles of the maximum
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSUnh4yTV/
here's a good example of what you can do with the figure
and above all else this post isn't a Maximun is a 10/10 product
this is more "the mafex are overhyped slop post
