Takara’s Super Best Jushin Liger figures. Acquired this pair recently and they’re a great time. Still want to pick up Liger’s horsey Begaruda.

The packaging is sick (like everything Takara made for that series), but the Liger is pretty awesome. Loaded with metal and very articulated for the time. Here’s my old beat up copy that got me into the line.

Head switching gimmick is fun. Complete figure comes with a shield that unfolds into wings (or a sort of goblin glider as it was occasionally used in the anime) and a sword (that’s just a sword but does sheathe neatly into the shield)

Most vintage releases between 1995 and 2005 dont have alot of online coverage for whatever reason. Y2K remains a major blindspot as far as toys go.
