There has always been that divide in the figure community. Look at how divisive Revoltechs are. Personally, I'm of the mindset that, if you don't want to see joint cuts and you just want a figure to be in a static pose, then just get a statue. Granted, A lot of my figures don't get touched very often, but I do like to fiddle with them every now and again. Still, I prefer articulation so the new fig doesn't bother me, it just seems like a Revo where you have to be very deliberate in how you pose him.

I think they actually did really well on this one for the cuts when he's in a static pose. Compared to an actual statue that doesn't have cuts, they managed to get rid of the ab cut and made the knees look seamless. They just need to find a better way to do the crotch.

I may be in the minority here, but I still love my 1.0 figures and keep them displayed as a way to remind myself of how far this line has come and what it used to be. The new ones are objectively closer to what I envision the character to look like in plastic form, but I do still have a ton of love for the jank and charm of 1.0 Goku, etc. To this day, I regret missing out on Cheetoku for this reason.

They just reopened some shipping methods to the US so it'll be interesting to see how expensive they are. I just used Hobby Genki's FedEx DDP option for SHF Char and it wasn't too expensive compared to what I was previously paying. Not as bad as I thought it would be anyway. I'm waiting for Amiami to invoice me for a figure, so we'll see what that's like. At least stores have given us somewhat reasonable options again. Nin Nin Games only option for a while was $50 to ship a single figure. Now they're down to $36, still not great but manageable at least.

Kong/Beast Deities is not bad, they gave us the 3.0 Vegetas, Broly, Heroes Black and ssj5ku, all their figures try to use modern architecture, they do innovate in little things, are mod friendly and the materials feel good
their main issue is price and head sculpts being hit and miss, they for some reason can't seem to nail Goku despite doing a pretty good Vegeta imo

Has anyone had any experience with overuse of the aliexpress refund facility?
In the past 6 months none of my deliveries have been updated as delivered, the tracking stops at customs, but I still get my figs. After 40 days Ali gives me an option to refund, so I tried it out on a couple expensive ordered and now up to $500 of free figures.

no, all of my tracking has been updating and everythings been going smoothly. I just pre-ordered a KW Cell, LS Moro and ZL Broly today. There's a newer listing up for Broly from a smaller shop with good reviews that has a bundle with the base head figure and blue super saiyan head for the cheapest I've seen so maybe get on that if you want one since it seems to be going immediately anytime a real store lists one.

Is there anyplace selling the ZT broly that allows you to pick the body and head kit seperately?
