1/6 mostly, they scale well to Barbie dolls, some accessories are a little off, all of the purses are basically perfect and most of their shoes fit

Jem's presence at NYCC was a single shelf showing off the doll that's been out since February, the boxed Jerrica set(going by box size it has nothing to justify the extra price) & an ad for that lazy budget "remaster" album. When does TLS just admit they don't wanna do the line & can it? They get enthusiastic about MASK weekly but only occasionlly remember this line exists. And going by the Palword license announcement, 80s nostalgia isn't being the profit generator they hoped for(well, in all fairness, they have released extremely little in the way of actual toys so far...).

That new album is lame. They were too cheap to hire a real band, it's just a synthesizer cover project. Even stingy motherfuckers Nightdive shell out more for remastered game soundtracks. I get it, Jem is a mostly dead fandom, but it isn't coming back with the low-effort Hasbro is giving it.

And can anyone tell me why a Jem x Vocaloid crossover can't happen? They just announced Miku and Spongebob toys. Is it true someone with control of the Jem brand is beyond stubborn? It's not like Hasbro can't get Miku, she's in MtG now!

G3 Skelitas waist will have a permanent clear cage, so she will still have the chest articulation and can wear form fitting clothes without losing shape

are action men considered fashion dolls? i recently found a few of my old ones with a back with all kinds of clothing and accesories. I loved that shit as a kid. Picrel isn't all but wanted to show some of my favs when i was younger

It's kind of that gray area, sure you could call them fashion dolls since there is a focus on redressing, but ultimately they're not considered fashion dolls because they don't exist for the sake of fashion/redressing they exist to be army/action men

I feel like the closed mouth Odile sculpt would be perfect for a black doll, plus I generally like it more than the open mouth one. I hope they use it more in the future, I got three of those purple mermaid Odile dolls for the face alone (I also want Juan Gabriel but idk if I can justify dropping $50+ just for the head…)

Also I don’t know why Mattel insists on using the same ugly facesculpts over and over for their playline dolls, both Barbie and Ken. I guess to keep making the better ones feel special? Which is stupid imo because any good looking doll will sell regardless of how often the sculpt has been used. Their upcoming 2026 dolls seem to have a little more diversity in sculpts, which I’m happy about, but I wish they would just get rid of the Neysa, Daisy, and Alec sculpts and finally replace Millie. It’s been long overdue.

The new Kpop Demon Hunter dolls have finally Been revealed! Mattel is going to be releasing this 3 pack on Nov 12th on their Mattel Creations website.
