Overall there's a lot of decent options for Devastator himself, it's the members that don't quite match the style. Which I don't try to complain about because there are a ton of options, but in all honesty none of them really nail the look I'm talking about across both the team and combined mode.

Mine has been holding up fine. Take your time with mixmaster and consider sanding some of his pegs to make things fit better. Get him a stand too. Buckethead is super cool but his arm support struts are kinda thin so be careful when transforming his arms, its not an issue once he's transformed though. Longhaul,Hightower,Overload and Scrapper are all 10/10 figures. Also get an LED kit for the combined head, it adds a ton of life to the combiner.

I will say that RT's Scorponok surprised me with it's quality. It's a lot of fun to transform and looks great in both modes, especially with the revised robot head. However, I have my doubts that they can handle the larger bots like Depth Charge and Rampage. Also, I'm still very upset that TransArt never released the rest of the Botcon repaints like Tigatron and Cataclysm.

We're past Wonderfest season and TFCons are always shit. BB, RoTB and ONE were all flops in China and slowed down the usual stream of enhanced KOs. Gwunners have burned themselves out on three scales in Universe, Hasui and Toon styles. Then all the artist-type 3Ps like Bigfirebird, Iron Romance and Iceberg have been transitioning to official licensed brands or non-TF toys. Attempts to bring new legends series like Mechanical Skull, Bailan and Robot Toys are good, but very slow. My bets are that Movie Legends will win, but only a year after TF10 releases. Dont expect anything worthwhile until Q2 of next year.

There was an MP classics Prime KO several years ago. My grail is a legends scale Classics seeker with improved articulation and hands. Astrotrain and Rodimus would be nice too.

This is the best mixed bag mess I've bought in a long time. Combine mode is 80% away from perfect, only knocked by how fucking loooong Armorhide and Rollbar make his lower legs and how despite Rotor and Movor having abdominal joints that should be used in combined mode to give the arms outward motion they are either pathetically loose or totally blocked by kibble preventing their use.

The individuals are all almost perfect too with Rollbar and Movor and Armorhide being particularly good. Rotor suffers a bit due to his legs being a bit of a mess, and as a result his knees are quite bad. Mega-octane's thighs are stubby as hell, and that is not helped at all that his torso is longer than ideal. The torso length is excusable since it gains no height when becoming Ruinations torso, and all of the combine mode chest plate and head is oragami'd tightly into his chest. The revolving gimmick of his head is cool as hell, it flips 360 through the torso coming back out with the combiner head clamshelled over it.

I'm also a little bit upset Armorhide wasn't retooled just enough that the front of the tank mode could be in the front of the leg mode instead of the back as it is in the show, even if the tank cannon would be slightly in the way.

In this particular case, that company spent a lot of time and effort on rebuilding the Scorponok mold from scratch so they're trying to get their money's worth out of it.

Newage is doing Greatshot so it wouldn't surprise me if they did Shadowmaru after that.
