The bittersweet part of Blockees is that you can expect a pretty fast release after announcement, despite the radio silence in between. Sometimes I wish more companies were the same.

On the other hand, there’s no way they aren’t making bank off of their Pokemon merch, it’s so strange that they prioritize stuff like Transformers instead.

lol sheet thanks guys.

But man going to check out and seeing it be like $32 with shipping.... The fact that my face is grimacing makes me question whether I actually give a fuck lol. if it was amazon this thing would be a no brainer since you can always find shit there to qualify for free shipping. Maybe when the deals come later this month they'll have some games or something I can pick up with it. otherwise....ehhh

(yeah i'm a cheap fuck, but I don't think any of these Jazzware pokemon toys are worth $30+ desu) but yeah really appreciate the heads up. i'm not a huge pokemon collector by any means so coming to 4chan toy and clicking this thread is the extent of the info i get. don't think i've given a fuck about any pokemon figures that came out since Tyranitar and the dogs/beasts so not like i feel a real need to check specific groups lol.

The second wave of blokees figures on aliexpress seem to all be more expensive than their wave 1 counterparts for all sellers. Did they up the "msrp" or is it just a little higher cause they're new? Do you think when a third wave comes out the second wave will be priced like the first? The little more on each kinda adds up when you buy a bunch of them.

Anonymous No.11613467 [Report] >>11613785

Yes, the new L wave it's been more expensive if you compare it with how you could get some of the first wave for pennies in the past. Honestly you should wait, blokees produces a shitton of their toys so a discount would surely be there in the future
S class are still cheap tho, yesterdat I got the whole box for $30

Flygon or Ttar. They are the only good articulated figures of either of those. The Select Mewtwo isnt too good and there's other options in similar sizes.

Really? From the pictures I would have thought MewTwo smockes them on that front. Which Mewtwo do yo think is better? Not the Action Function one, right?

Seems so going off the other pics on Ali.
What throws me off is how the gold ring is misaligned and the stand height differs from the promo pic.
Anonymous No.11615445 [Report]
>>11615303
Jaz Mewtwo has a lot of issues. The bendy tail isn't bendy until about the half way point so it's pretty useless and often hurts the center of balance. The thing lacks some important POA like pivot ankles and good wrists. These issues make it hard to stand on its own but the peg hole for the base is drilled in incorrectly so it's awkward to get the base in there.

The 5.5" Tomy one has less articulation, but nearly the same range in many areas since the Jaz joints are so bad in some areas.

Flygon is good.
Mewtwo is bad. It not only looks wrong because of wide head, it also lacks in articulation.
Tyranitar is as best as you can get.

Yeah I have that Starmie and the stand is removable. Probably why the gold ring looks wonky, is they often have her standing on the wrong fin. I do love it, but I wish it was painted in the FLRG colour scheme like in my scale world one

Now that you all are talking about starmie, an actual articulated mega starmie figure would be so much fun, only "silly" mega I've liked so far since it's basically just starmie but stupid

Like >>11616789 said, unless its a large rubbery figure with a bendy wire inside it like Gumby, how could you articulate Mega Starmie? The wide limb shapes and raised center point make any kind of articulation for the shoulders and hips impossible

>>11616934
I get the feeling you collect so few toys because of your inability to conceive an articulated starfish. It would even look better than penis-hands patrick since Mega Starmie won't need interchangeable hands
Some people here seem to only imagine things being possible when the figure does exactly what the character does 100% lol meanwhile we been having 20 years of mewtwos and Pikachus that can't even pose their tails properly
Stop being so bitchy about wishful thinking what the fuck

Show us a figure, any figure, with limbs shaped like Mega Starmie's that has swivel hinges like that Super 7 Patrick Star figure. Like the post above you said, the shape of the Starmie limbs prevents them from functioning as swivels, and that raised ridge down the center of the limbs makes both swiveling and hinging difficult.
Anonymous No.11616999 [Report]

That's just a fat dude tho
Anonymous No.11617361 [Report]
>>11616948
That's a horrible example. The fact you chose that as something you thought was a good example just because he's a humanoid starfish is actually hilarious!

Patrick just has rather rounded limbs like so many other action figures. The ppl were saying that the flat and wide shape of Starmie's limbs is what makes it impossible to articulate and I'd agree. It's yet another case of a design that only really works as a plush.

They are, but with a glossy finish. The finish is hit or miss, because they trap in any imperfections that you could typically fix with alcohol or a magic eraser. However, I got my wife the newest Halloween calendar and every single one looks perfect with a nicely applied finish. Hopefully that's a sign they're trying harder with them.
