speaking of snail shell, has anyone found an easy arm swap for snail shells?
I too am bothered by arms that are too short. And the diagonal wristpegs I dislike because i'm so used to straight figma ones. I understand they are more sturdy and harder to shear off, but because i always forget i put too much stress on them.

You can just replace the wrist pegs. Hobby base joints can work but you have to cut and file down the pegs to fit into the tiny holes.

No pic, but Quinn Lee update (particularly for the anon with the loose shoulder issue***):
- Finally got the chance to heat it up and swap parts. For the torso swap, the torso wasn’t even hot anymore (this was an hour or so later) and I just lined the shoulder socket with some shock oil and pushed hard.
- I was careful to make sure the angle was good, and it took force but they eventually popped in.
- Her right shoulder, the one that I believe people have the most trouble with, was tight but mostly straight forward.
*** Her left shoulder felt like it popped in twice. The first pop left the shoulder loose and it would fall out easily. This figure has a weird torso where the shoulder joints can look and feel like they’re in but are actually still floating. That made me think that it wasn’t fully in so I pushed harder and it definitely was the solution. Took a lot of force but the second pop feeling was more significant.
- I waited 12+ hours to move the joints and they were tight but they seem to be fine. You have to be careful to make sure the ball in the torso is moving. Press down and go slow. There was initially the snap sound you hear in tight joints on a new figure, but no damage or stress. The hinge on the shoulder peg seems like it would be the weak point, so make sure you press down to isolate the ball in the torso when gently moving the joint.
- Everything seems to be good now. Her right shoulder is tighter than the other but moves without stress. Her left shoulder is good. I may heat it up later and try and make them looser but it’s not necessary at all.

The new torso definitely makes me love the figure more, and unless Storm Arena greatly improves their version this will be by far the best Zero Chun. Though to be fair, their Storm Collectibles Chun Li is a monster.

Original Lustia's top doesn't really stay in place either, it felt like the fiddliest and flimsiest piece of plastic I can imagine when I first got her.

The feet are not supposed to be free, I did see a post at one point about someone buying a resold Lustia and getting feet that weren't advertised, so maybe it just depends on your seller and how much they give a fuck.

I think eventually, some have become hired in-house as snail shell has grown. It makes sense for a tiny company to try to work with artists when they may not have a lot of money for full time designers on top of the sculptors and engineers.

I know I am years late to the second axe Taimanins but I recently got a preowned Asagi from amiami. Even if you look at her as a non coomer figure and just as like a cool ninja character, I think she is very nice and the metallic finish is quite impressive and eye catching though I am a little concerned about it scratching.

My only other second axe is tan Lisbeth. Still don't love the hard plastic (or the prices...) they use but I think there's still a lot to like with the company so it's a shame they don't make more figures. Definitely getting Nagai-san next year but it would be nice to see them go back to designs similar to this.

That figmas used to be really short like they never really worked in a 1/12 scale because they weren't made with it in mind, the proper scale stuff didn't really start until Totk link who also towers over his previous versions

Yes. Here's what they look like (sorry, I only have the feet, no Lustia yet lol). I think it's always these same 4 poses for snail shells. But they change the foot size a bit.

By the way, you can use a small amount of sticky tack on the bottom of the shoe or foot to help them stand for pictures.
