I'm a bit curious too what this guy is doing. He used to make longer travel videos that got a decent amount of views. Then he seemed to have rented an apartment in a central european country, and from there he mostly makes videos for a portion of paying sycophants while sitting in a chair rambling on about stuff that pisses him off with having a large audience.

I just marathoned the "hitchiking to Afrika" series today and it made me depressed honestly. That Mark guy was pretty much spot on when he went on his blackpill monologue.
The entire trip was:
>go to gas station
>wait for 30min - 2h
>get in stranger car, exchange names and destinations
>if you are lucky and can communicate, chit-chat for a bit (there was maybe 2-3 interesting drivers in the 3 months)
>get dropped off in the outskirts of anything interesting
now you have a choice:
>repeat steps above to get closer to destination
>find spot to camp in some desolate torn down rural place
>waste the rest of your day to make it into a city center

And even when he got into cities all he did was visit cathedrals and try to sneak into boring museums. The bit in gibraltar trolling the security guard was also the cringiest thing I've seen all year, pathetic northern monkey behavior. It was kinda bad before but idk what happened there he just chimped out.

I hitchhiked through Europe (as European) in 2023/24 for a year
honestly it was way easier than I thought
went from Copenhagen to Athens in like 3 days
even getting to Corsica, UK or other Islands was surprisingly easy, sometimes some really nice people even paid the additional ferry fee for me

and had lots of interesting conversations
most people that took me in where old(ish) people that hitchhiked themselves in their youth and told me about their travels
but also families, farmers or people on their way to vacation
