you can make a new thread and dump all the photos there but that's gay, might as well do the same on a discord server. way more practical. some people use the map thread for blogposting but that's also extremely limited, you can only do that if you go to a new region and there isn't much to see anyway

the best way to blogpost about your travels/trips here is changing boards >>>/int/extraflags , there at least there's the additional fun of changing flags when going to a new place

I haven't come to /trv/ in many years. Almost 15 years ago I'd browse trv obsessively in highschool, dreaming of the day I'd travel. /trv/ was different back then, people would share funny stories, crazy things that happened.

Now you post a story and it's just "not your personal blog faggot" type reactions or more accurately no reactions. A lot of the threads are about travel meta and the few travel threads are about a select few countries and mostly involve losers who want to have sex with asian women

I've been on the move for nearly eight months now and the scarcity of white male adventurers in Southeast Asia is remarkable. Yesterday was the first time in forever I saw a scruffy solo white dude with a stained & torn backpack riding the bus, looking like he just emerged from the deep Indonesian jungles.
