Probably private van while touring and a ferry to Dubai at the end. I was hoping to wander around a bit but was told that wasnt an option for US passport holders. Should be a short tour, usually I spend a full three months+ living in a place

Yeah this is what holds me back from doing an Iran/Iraq holiday, completely fucks with travel to the US for the rest of your life.
