Have flights booked to solo travel to Scotland a month from now for 9 nights but otherwise don't have anything else booked so open to any recommendations and stuff to prioritize while there
I'm starting off by flying into Edinburgh and plan to spend a few nights there
Also, I don't drive so I might need to rely on tour groups for some places like isle of sky to save time instead of needing to deal with buses
Also I'm not only american but also hispanic, how will I be treated while there. This will be my first time visiting Europe

Loch Ness is quite worthwhile I've found, really nice environment and dramatic scenery. You might want to add a place like Fort Augustus to your itinerary. Has a cruise out to the loch. Bothy restaurant has really nice haggis dish, a favourite culinary memory of mine.

There is a train to Skye from Inverness.

We won't outwardly dislike you for being Hispanic but Scots banter might come across as unfriendly. Scots love a visitor and will pay attention to you/talk to you.

How did you settle on 9 days if you don’t know what you’re doing?

9 days is what I have available for vacation
I usually last minute plan my vacations and sometimes go with nothing booked besides the flights and hotel for first couple days and just plan as I go
I've done many solo trips like this before and just plan the next day before I go to sleep or during breakfast
