Is it possible to get a tourist visa to visit Chile from Australia as a NEET (DSP)?

I (aussie) visited in 2023 and you just go to https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/ and choose multi-entry visa. Prebook a hostel or an airbnb and ask your host to sponsor you. Pay a few USD and you're good. Only problem I had was that the visa doesn't allow you to pick a period of entry; it began counting day the 60 day period or whatever it was from the day it was approved. I think I did it 2-3 weeks before I left for Chile, and it took less than a week to approve.

I had to look up what a "DSP" is, and it appears to be the Australian equivalent of disability checks. OP is a self-admitted NEET, so it's most likely autismbux/tugboats. He might be worried that his tugboat might not be adequate proof of income, which might be required on visa application forms.

Australia is the only nationality that requires an eVisa to enter Chile. Very new requirement, too, it was introduced in 2020. Everyone else is either visa-free or visa required. Basically implying that aussies aren't human enough to merit visa-free entry.

I guess it's because Australia requires a visa from Chileans. Even the US is visa free for Chileans, but not Australia.

You won't get DSP if you stay there for too long.
