>>2791333 (OP)I went travelling thru europe solo for 2 weeks and what I'd do is sit at the "bar" but not all european countries have that mentality or something equivalent to bar seating. In belgium I had this weird feeling of not being welcome in a couple of restaurants doing it, but in amsterdam there seemed to be no problem and I would regularly chat with those around me.
If you're not a sperg you can go and sit with other tourists. Last time I was in europe I noticed a huge abundance of solo travelling chinese females and would sit down with them. But I am handsome so its easy but even chinese girls have pretty low standards too so..
I also recall going to a restaurant in netherlands in the countryside and chatting to the dutch people in the table just over :) but it wasn't a saturated area so I was a curiosity.
There was ONE place I turned away from, but this is one of those cool opportunities to tell someone to go fuck themselves and you're justified and you can go on and never think of it again.
It basically just depends, every place has its own vibes. sometimes you can talk to the people next to you, sometimes you can't. Sometimes you can sit with strangers, sometimes you can't. I know a lot of you are spergs but you CAN develop this sense. its not something anyone is born with. And developing these skills is what travel is for.
