How do you prevent they plant you drugs in your suitcase when you deliver it in the check in? There have been an increase of case lately and i'm afraid. I don't want to end in prison in a random country for being a blind mule

In all South American aiports there is a plastic wrapping service. They wrap your stuff in about 20 layers of that foil shit. Looks ridiculous but it just werks.

You cant actually be prosecuted just for having drugs in your suitcase, especially after check in (other people have handled it). Because at that point anyone has access to your suitcase and anyone could have planted in there.

Unless you tell them it was you who took the drugs, they will only confiscate it and throw it away.

It's the same as going to a supermarket with a can of coke in your pocket. This isn't a crime because you didn't steal the can of coke there.

In order to be legally in the wrong, they need evidence that you are the one responsible.
