I'm going to have the opportunity to work remotely for 2-3 years. I don't care to be travelling constantly, but I would like to do some 1-3 month trips in different places, probably using some PTO at the beginning and maybe end of each trip.
Where should I go?

I will be working in EST time so my schedule has to be based around that. Of course I also need reliable internet.
I'd like to go somewhere and ski for a season. I'd like to learn how to surf as well. So far I am considering Japan, Korea, Spain, and Portugal.

I recommend south America or south eastern asian countries, don't stay in one place and those countries are easy and cheap to move around in by bus / train / plane and lots of tourists to exchange with.
Those areas are great because they're cheap (especially if you use dollar or euro), have good food, nature, and probably different from what you're used to (I'm assuming since you're on 4chan).
For skiing armenia and Georgia are cheap and nice, surfing and water sports either south America or Philippines / Indonesia, there are lots of coasts there.

Nah Egypt mostly sucks you won't be comfortable there, there's nice things but too much pollution and trash and people. The food is also terrible there. The south of Egypt is pretty nice for a few days if you dive but there ain't much more to do.
