The video makes it clear that when things go wrong, planes can fall out of the sky in the course of a few seconds. The odds of dying a plane crash have to be increasing with all these recent crashes. It's an epic way to go.

Can I get by traveling with just never flying again? Maybe just travel by boat if I have to go to another country? I hate flying so much. Not only do I get incredibly nauseous and end up drenched in a cold sweat by the end of every flight, it also seems like its getting increasingly dangerous. I just never want to ride a plane again for the rest of my life.

Depends on where you are. Europe/Asia? Yeah, you're fine, plenty to visit within that landmass.

US/NA? Travel within the US is pretty shit right now. Sea travel's going to make you nauseous too, plus you'll be stuck in a tiny cabin for days.

I'm in the US. I've been on a cruise one time as a kid and don't remember getting sick. If I can ride a boat to any country I don't think I'll mind the travel time. a week of lazing around on a boat almost seems better than 12 hours of anxiety, nausea and exhaustion to me.

Could work but there are limitations. There aren't that many cruises to most other countries. The Caribbean, Mexico, and nearby areas, sure, but not many to other continents. You could be waiting a while for a spot, and there really aren't too many cruises in the winter.

Royal Caribbean: no transatlantic cruises
Holland America: a few cruises, almost all in March, April, or October. Only one in July that takes 35 days.
Norwegian Cruise Lines: Only one cruise to Europe in August. Nothing else in 2025 or 2026.

There's a steady stream of transatlantic cruises up until late Autumn. A quick look on Seascanner has 121 transatlantic cruises for the rest of the year.

You're pretty much forced to use Cunard if you want a 7 day one though as they're the only company that still has proper ocean liners.

I don't trust anything "good" out of Indians. I've worked with Indians in many different jobs across multiple industries. They're always fudging things up. They don't actually care about doing a good job, they only care about doing enough to LOOK good. Some technician is cutting corners, or some admin is cooking the books.

Don't think I've done the A350 but heard good things about it.
787 is great for long haul which is mostly what I catch, the cabin pressure and humidity is legitimately noticable, especially overnight. I think newer models have caught up and manage it now too but at the time it was a big difference on arrival after a redeye
Flew on the 737-Max last week, made me laugh because I've always been intrigued by it but never had chance to, was accidental last minute booking due to a cancelled connection. Wasn't too bad, the double winglet thing looks fucking weird though.
