I'm confused. At least in Japan, they pointed out how Americans and other nations abuse their culture of passiveness and how some fucks were damaging their shrines or assaulting women in Gion. Also most of the tourists there go to the Golden Path so the rest of Japan gets financially fucked. So them putting up more restrictions and increased prices makes sense.
