Pretty much go into any of the big valleys or basins i n the Rocky Mountains and you'll find lakes/rivers that are very scenic and nobody around you for miles on end. Even more so if it's in true backcountry and takes multi-day backpacking just to get to.

Where's this? Kind of looks like redfish lake in the sawtooth mountains which is definitely up there on my list.
Then there's the usuals like Yellowstone and Yosemite.
