I'm consistently treated worse than "any other random stranger". Customer service people will greet everybody while ignoring me. Random people on the streets will laugh at me or look at me with complete disgust and hostility. Others will talk negatively about me while I'm in earshot. I'm the guy who suggested India; it's a steep learning curve and you gotta get out of the big cities, but the peoplle are incredibly friendly and curious and willing to talk with you, they won't judge on looks because it's a country full of freaks and mutated people, it's very cheap as well

Rishikesh (swiss hilltop), Gokarna (Kudle Beach), McLeado Ganj (Bhagsu+dharamkot), Pushkar, Varkala Beach

You can take local busses or just find some tourist agent (they're everywhere) and get an AC bus, trains usually need to be booked in advance
it's a difficult place to travel but the people are very welcoming and curious (also lots of scammers)
