Does anyone else feel full of energy after a big adventure or travel?
More passioniate to live? Recharged? Reborn ?
Any idea what it is that causes this after some travels?

The first time I felt this was after I rode a motorcycle all over the US for a month. I was 23 and it was like my first big solo trip
When I arrived back to my hometown, all the sudden I felt this great big joy , like i finally made it , the mission was a success
And i stood up on my bike and let out a big victory yell, and then the next 2 weeks I was full of life and energy and beleive it or not, i was even getting chicks.
I have gotten this lust for life after other trips, but not all. I am hoping to figure out what it is that brings the post adventure high

Damn really? Is this thread too gay to respond to?
When I got home from Thailand back in the day , I also had a lively energy and spunk for life. More energy to be creative and full of life.
Maybe i am just too old now but my recent travels just dont get this energy going as much

I donโ€™t necessarily have more energy but after my most recent trip I can actually fall asleep and wake up feeling somewhat recharged

IDK, I'm just happy that I bought a packaged sandwich with my beer so after the beer is done and I suddenly feel very hungry, I can reach over and start eating without having to go out again for food.

At age 31, the time for fantasy has past. It'll be enjoyable to step off the bus with my bags in my "home town" after eight months of world travel. But the newness of being "home" will soon fade, and I'll have to resign myself to being the same nobody in my small Colorado town that I was when I first arrived there seven years ago. Buy a bicycle, a backpack and some weed, then go on overnight trips into the wilderness, learning how to sleep rough without a van. It's worth looking forward to.
