I stayed up all night before my 12 hr flight so I would be tired enough to pass out on the plane. Once I boarded, I took 5 melatonin gummies and they didn't help. I wasn't nervous or anything either, and this was the second time of me flying this long without being able to sleep. Any suggestions on something that'll knock me out next time?

I do 1-2 benadryl. It's still shitty sleep but I get a solid couple of hours. Idc if the hat man allahu ackbars my dreams it's better than passing out every 30 mins.

Deliberately staying awake before your long flight is peak retardation. Sleep well before your flight, then you'll feel ready to hit the streets for a few hours after you land.

Just fly business like any normal person.

>Adjust time to place you're flying to
>Have some beers before the plane
>Take some tylenol PM
>Chug water during boarding

Melatonin gummies don't work on everyone nor do they work if you just loaded up on food. Tylenol works better as it's a pain reliever for your unconventional sleep posture and has enough to help you stay asleep.
