Anyone planning to visit the newly opened resort town in North Korea? Looks pretty promising.

few years ago I was hiking (Mount Kumgang, Paektu and Myohyangsan Mountains) in NK

honestly all the "touristy" stuff was quite underwhelming
even worse, camping was forbidden everywhere so we had to return to a "hotel" every night
their hotels look and feel like mass tourism concrete bunkers, even though they're usually completely empty
it's not even about the money (hotels were like 3x the price they should've been)
everything felt outdated and neglected

nature is awesome though
and trails alongside temple ruins around Myohyangsan - absolutely stunning
