Not sure if it’s the best board to ask this but I think this is semi-related.
So me , a 20 years old chink, was looking for bus stop to tomorrow’s spot in Salzburg, I just found it and when I was walking to there , there’s a group of young white girls walking behind me.
Suddenly there’s one girl came up to me, she something like “ catch up” or something? Idk i didn’t really focus, and seemingly wanted me to shake hands to her.

That's fucking weird. Same thing unironically happened to me in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan a couple of weeks ago. I was so weirded out by it that I just gave her a side eye and ignored her and she seemed embarrassed Infront of her friends.
Some kind of viral online trend?
>>2798989When I walked away, I could hear they laughing and talking in some European language.
Are you Asian as well?
>>2798991No. White guy. This girl and her friends were kinda laughing but out of awkwardness and embarrassment I would guess. She would normally be out of my league so maybe the rejection was embarrassing but it was a weird af approach.
Girls in groups can be bold and mischievous. I remember being 16 years old working my first job at a sub shop when some girls said "hey, I think you're cute" to me. I shook my head no and felt very annoyed and embarrassed. Back then I was extremely awkward around other people and insecure about my appearance.
Observing people (and noting their reactions to being observed) reveals a lot more about the nature of a place than merely looking at greenery & buildings. Some people don't like to be observed, just like some birds and animals don't like being watched. Others are internally stable and will observe you right back.
