Malaysia's Johor state is multicultural. I did not get woken up by any muezzin while staying there. The Islamist east coast states, however, started singing at 5:30 AM and didn't quit until about 8. By then, the traffic noise had begun.
>inb4 wear earplugs
Wearing earplugs regularly can lead to chronic inflammation of your ear canals. Intense itchiness makes earplugs unbearable, and you will pull them out in your sleep.

In which places have you been that you can hear it in your hotel? I have been to several muslim countries and never have heard more than some distant chance. Never been woken up by one.

In Turkey it was two buildings away but I was a couple floors higher than the building inbetween, so it was at my windows level like 40' away. Comically loud.
>hotel
Never stay in them except the first days after flying into a country, I stay places for months.

I mean, I think standing up and stretching periodically throughout the day is good, but do you really need someone to remind you. Like, can you not afford a watch.

I love it when you hear the *ffpfrfrfpff* of the speaker then it goes ALLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
In Eastern Turkey they were kinda serious about it, but in Albania nobody gives a shit, nobody goes to the prayer, yet they still do it.

I got in the habit of wearing noise cancelling headphones and playing white noise when I sleep and now can't stop even when it's perfectly quiet out, lol
