You can only go on a guided tour. I did, and it was a really nice experience. It's like a calm retreat with pure nature, away from all the hassle.

I was there last year. What do you want to know specifically?
I went there in November but surprisingly the weather was akin to that in spring. Clear skies and not even cold.
If you're flying from Kathmandu, make sure to check in online in advance and choose a seat on the left. I saw Mount Everest and it was kino. Choose the right side seat if you're flying to Kathmandu
You will also get one of the best stamps in your passport. Definitely a novelty you'll get just from visiting
Bhutan ain't a clean paradise as you may think. There are still trash heaps everywhere but not alot.
Most Bhutanese can speak English since it's a subject they're taught at grade school.
Bhutanese cuisine is shit honestly. They like spicy food and while that doesn't bother me, I find most of it to be bland/tasteless.
Yes, the price I had to pay for the tour was expensive, but it was definitely worth it. It keeps the cheap travelers at bay so you only see a few tourists when you're going around. It really feels like a country stuck in the past.

Looks like a westernized boring shithole.
If I want feminism I can stay in Europe.

An excess of spice to cover up for deficiencies in quality and flavor is all too common in Asia.

Trash heaps are better than trash strewn all over the place. Has Bhutan tried to eliminate single-use plastics?
