They take sleeping pills. Is it 18h straight or like 8h + 4h lay over then another 6h flight?

18hr flight = 4 week stay minimum
>it's really like 4 days bc once you get settled in you'll need a day just to recoup once you get there and once you return unless you're just a mindless drone who doesn't care and likes your vacations to be miserable

Flights this long always have layovers, but they're usually like 2 hours. Barely enough time to leave the airport, let alone do anything. Hardly a break from boredom.

I will gladly sit on a plane for 24-36 hours so I can fly somewhere where I can get my pecker played with. You already knew the reason why when you made this thread so I’m shoving my generic answer to these catshit questions into your thread to set the tone.

Men will pay any price to get their pecker played with

Used to be we had ocean liners, you could spend a few days in spaciousness and luxury and looking out wistfully at the sea instead of 18 hours crammed into a tube like sardines. Never forget what they took from you.

You wait. And you wait. And you wait. Then you wait some more. Patience is a traveler's virtue.

Assuming you have a layover:
>during the shorter flight: podcasts, movies, books, wifi if the airline offers it. If you have enough space to bring with you an old portable gaming console like a DS or PSP that's a good idea
>during the longer flight: sleeping pills, ear plugs / noise canceling headphones, eye cover. Eventually you WILL fall asleep
Oftentimes as other anons have said layover time at the airport is just enough that you'll get bored but not enough that you actually have time to leave the airport and do anything interesting (not to mention that if you do leave the airport then you have to go through security again which may be a hassle). If the airport is even remotely interesting then just walking around and shopping for local knickknacks can be a decent distraction for a little bit. Apart from that there's really no option but to thug it out, as another anon said patience is a traveler's virtue

I had a 2 hour flight with Transavia and it was hell

But I been told that when you fly further away the planes and seats are usually bigger so you have more room

But im almost 2 meters so it will suck either way for me

where the fuck are you guys flying? NY to Singapore is the longest flight I think and that's 19hr. You can get to Peru or Colombia from most of continental US in like 6-8hr. Europe isn't much farther

Anywhere in Australia, New Zealand, and a lot of Asia is gonna be 20+ hours if you live on the east coast of US

Its really difficult as an Australian since you have to spend about 2.5 annual leave days just traveling, for a higher cost on average than the US/Euros do. It's partly why I've gone to asia so many times
