I had a voucher and on a whim I booked a flight to Toulouse for a week did I fuck up?

My hometown.

It's not really a city you would stay in for a week unless you have planned a day trip to neighboring towns like Albi or Carcassonne.
But it is a lovely place full of students, and it really has a unique vibe when the sun sets and the orange buildings reflects the sunlight.
It's a truly walkable city and it's really friendly.

If you like planes check out the Airbus tour and Aeroscopia.
If you like concerts Le Bikini is a great venue reknowned for its sound quality.
Also check out Les Halles de la Machine it's a must see.

Albi and Carcasonne look cool. Are they worth spending the night?
Is Narbonne any good? I was looking at the Roman museum and the grands buffets there.

I don't think they're worth spending the night, you're better off staying in Toulouse. They are the perfect size to visit in a single well spent day.
Narbonne is just as interesting, but les grands buffets is so great and unique that it makes it worth the detour too, if you can get a reservation.
