Is this a ridiculous travel itinerary to spend 6 days in Thailand?

We would leave Saturday at 1:35PM and technically get to Bangkok Monday at 4:30 AM, leaving Thailand on the Sunday and coming back the Sunday despite travel + layover time being 28 hours with a lay over in Japan both ways.

Is this trip worth doing? The three of us booked a week in Atlantic Canada but the one person who wanted to go the most ended up backing out, so now we have this time off that we're trying to figure out better options for.

I think if you're coming from Canada or America, this is pretty stupid and you should give yourself at least two weeks. Because that first day in Thailand, the Monday you arrive, you arrive at 4.30, you're going to be jet-lagged and sleepy, so then you really only have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So it's like, you can't really do much. And you're pretty limited in terms of where you can go. I think two to two and a half weeks is the minimum, just day in Thailand. If you guys already have the time booked off, then just fucking go to Costa Rica or Mexico or somewhere in South America.

I wouldn't bother with Thailand for anything less than a fortnight. Everyone's different though, might still be worth it to some folk.
