In my late 20s and just said ”what the hell” yesterday and decided to plan my first solo trip late for September - early October. I have three countries in mind and they all have their strong points.

Things I want to do: visit historical landmarks, museums, try local food, experience nightlife and create beautiful memories (maybe meet other people) make love to girls I will never see again to end my 20s.

Greece appeals to me because of my love for the ancient world. Was thinking spending a week in Athens (heard the nightlife is amazing) and a week island hoping like I’m Odyssey.

>Italy
Stayed in northern Italy for two weeks last year and I can honestly say it was best traveling experience ever. This time I was thinking I could do a lot in two weeks like visiting Rome and Bologna etc.

>Spain
This one is really just on the list because my coworker swears by Madrid. According to him it’s the best city in all of Europe with so much to do and see. The proximity to historical places like Toledo and Barcelona (which has been a dream city of mine) makes it a contender.

Croatia looks cool. Diocletian's Palace is in Split and the beaches and women are suppose to be great. I wouldn't go to Cyprus though. Sicily looks bad ass. Look into the volcanic island chain north of Messina.
