Does anybody travel places to get an insight into happenings, the general political atmosphere, or to record content?

Been getting into Charles Veitch and I love how he captures the normal city streets in the UK, and the decay. It's a refreshing change from the typical bloggers tikcing off destinations from Atlas Obscura.

Recently, for example, he was in Manchester and cpatured the following at the same time:
>Oasis fans drinking and preparing for a concert
>Police busting up a Palestine Action protest
>Furfags hanging out

Some things I wish I'd recorded along the way

>Being out on Tahrir on a Friday protest, and having some Egyptians invite me to come along to the Israeli embassy the night they burnt it down

>Trying to cross through Syria as the Civil War was starting after hearing somebody made it across the border without a visa. Got denied, and had a rejected Jordanian exit stamp which resulted in a fucking world of pain flying out of Tel Aviv on the sabbath while stoned. Was interesting as fuck partying with jordanians and Israelis and hearing their takes on matters.

>Randomly ending up in Diyarbakir in like 2012 or so due to a flight getting redirected (blizzard). Decided to yolo and just check it out. Was based walking around a literal medieval tier city, meeting randos on the street, watching kids fire guns off the walls, etc

>Flying in to Gibraltar for their national day and not realising it. Watching David Cameron shout out a patriotic speech to the Spanish telling them the rock will always be 'ours', then partying in a sea of red and white before taking a hostel qt3.14 to the casino and losing.

Anybody else got some interesting stories and moments they found themselves in which shaped a fair bit of their world view and carved out a piece of insider knowledge?

I've never heard of this channel before but the antics displayed in this video are plainly fascistic. He reacts brashly and aggressively to everything he sees with pseudointellectual superiority, with disregard to the climate of the locale. He immediately dehumanizes people at protests, knowing the cretin in his mind will be there. He exploits the rally for views, portraying a candid observer but propagandizing for the state if anything, yet has a Camus quote in bio claiming to stand against the forces of time. He assaults someone he fears might stab him like a wild animal.

Do not seek to gain insight from this man. He does not know how to travel. You can travel and make actual human connections to understand places and politics without going to the top-rated ChatGPT-recommended safe tourist traps, and without violently carrying your prejudices to the local spots.

This thread (and the screenshot) reeks of terminally online faggotry.
Travel to a left leaning city, pick a cafe or restaurant on the street, and enjoy a beer / coffee people watching.
Form your own opinions from There.
Some of the best memories I have are just having a pizza and a beer on a patio in Montreal.
Look behind the guy in your thread image.
The street is free of litter, the buildings are old brickworks and full of character, and there are flowers and other nice decorations all around him.
It takes effort to be this hateful of the world you live in. Look for love and happiness where you go, not opportunities to waste your youthful energy doing yet more unnecessary hating.
