It's been years since my family's done a trip. I'm trying to think of a place we'd all be down for + that isn't a Europe trip.

Trip time probably 10 days (I'll stay wherever we go longer but not everybody in my senpai can).

I've done a lot of travel in LatAm and can't really see my mom being into Peru/Bolivia but I think she would do Southern cone, parts of Brazil, Nica. It's a bit hard to mix everybody's interests.

I feel like Asia would be easy and my mom would worry less about safety. I'm kind of leaning towards Taiwan because it seems like a great country to see in 10-days if you rent a car. It's clean, safe, easy to navigate, will be very unique for those in my family who haven't been to Asia (Only me and my brother have). I just feel like there's a chance somebody in my family will be like "what if China invades"

Obviously Europe and USA would be easy but I'd like to find something that is new for everybody.

I've never done SE Asia but my sister has a peanut allergy so because they cook everything in peanut oil I feel like it's not the best idea (this also a concern in Taiwan... if anybody knows if it can be safely avoided I'd appreciate it).

Other possible options
>uzbkeistan
>India (but I worry my mom or sister might not want to because of the trash etc)
>South Korea (I've only seen Seoul)
>Kyushu (bro and I have done japan but never Kyushu. I feel like the atmosphere would be my mom and sister's ideal. My dad and bro in law I feel like are okay with anywhere like my bro and I).

It's rare our schedules match up and it's been forever we did a vacation with everybody. I really want everybody to enjoy it

BTW the trip would probably be in Nov or Dec

November is a good month to visit South America.

You can do Buzios and/or Floripa (3-5 days)
Iguazu Falls (2 days)
Buenos Aires (3-5 days)
Montevideo (1-2 days)

December is NOT a good month, because it's the beginning of summer meaning the weather gets too hot, and locals start crowding the beaches as well.

Alternatively Patagonia is amazing at that time of the year, particularly December, as you avoid the freezing temps and can do hiking, visiting national parks and plenty of nature exploration, you can do the 7 Lakes Region (hiking-heavy activities), Calafate or Ushuaia (more chill)

Safety concerns are minimal aside from Rio, but you can stay on Buzios and avoid the city altogether.

South Korea, Kyshu and Taiwan are great but I have no recs to make there. In particular, the idea of renting a car and going around Taiwan seems amazing.

Uzbekistan & India are definitively more adventure-type trips, sound like weird destinations for a family trip, but I don't know your family maybe they are the adventurous type.
