They are famous for the beef, definitely recommend trying it as ramen, sushi and the buns. I forget what shop I got the sushi and ramen at, but you'll find skewers and buns at most corners. They also have sake shot vending machines in the old town brewery area

Try the local curry at least, it's got a bit earthier flavor and it's darker than the regular Japanese curry. There's a Kamakura pasta (chain) restaurant at the mall near the JR station, delicious and cheap

is it normal to vomit from overeating in japanese restaurant because usually dishes are made to be shared?
Recently i was in japanese museum in Krakow where i ate 2 dorayakis with butter and drank green milky matcha tea. Then i came to japanese restaurant where i ate large bowl of rice + small crispy chicken battered pieces + pieces of fried egg (i think it was called katsudon) + bowl of miso soup + green tea. That dish was quite delicious desu maybe except miso soup which i drank for the first time and when i was finishing it - tasted too oily, weird to me.
So enjoyed meal but i knew something was wrong the minute i finially finished. GOt so full it was unbearable and driking water did nothing. Nothing else i could do at that moment than excusing myself to toilet and vomiting for few minutes. Vomits was all green so maybe that matcha tea was culprit. Or maybe i simply not accustomated to asian food - if too oily and too fried, i remember in Thailand sometimes i also felt bad after eating, maybe as european i am accustomated to different type of food.
That kind of ruined my evening, i was grumpy rest of it. You ever had similiar experience with japanese food?
I am not fat btw, i am just 75 with 5'9

There is no separate immigration queue. There is a separate customs queue though if you fill out the customs form on the Visit Japan app.

Note that, in typical Japanese fashion, the implementation of this in practice is a fucking travesty in practice and the lines for the paper customs form are often shorter than the "fast track" electronic forms.

>Recently i was in Japanese museum in Krakow

If I am reading this right, you visited a Japanese museum in Poland and then possibly got food poisoning at a nearby Japanese restaurant, which also is located in Poland. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of Japanese restaurants in Poland so my only advice to you is to call the Polish health department and snitch the name of the Japanese restaurant you suspect gave you food poisoning. If the Polish health authorities show up for a surprise health inspection and it turns out the restaurant committed health violations, then a dirty kitchen and a dirty restaurant worker could be the reason why you felt sick and threw up after eating Japanese food.

Indonesia tourists call this Bali Belly because Indonesia is not strict on preventing contaminated food and water. Same goes for the rest of Southeast Asia. Hot, humid weather just makes it easy for food to spoil faster.

This retard ate on some shoddy restaurant in Poland though, and he's blaiming it on the food being Japanese.

Japanese food is very milquetoast and non-spicy. Much of it is steamed, it shouldn't cause any problems to the European palate. The only causes have to be due to the fish being spoiled, the kitchen being dirty or the quality being bad, and not something in the diet itself.

It's not like Thai/Vienamese or Central American food which is spicy as shit.

It's not like Chinese/Thai/Vienamese or Central American food which is spicy as shit. Those could genuinely upset someone's stomach even if the quality was good, just due to not being accustomed to it. But that's not the case with Jap food.

It could be heat stroke. This season you need to drink small amounts of water frequently, even if you are not thirsty.
Even if you are not in direct sunlight, being in the air with high temperature and humidity can take a toll on your body.
I have also experienced vomiting after eating because my stomach was weak due to the heat.
If you continue to feel unwell afterwards, I suggest you go to a hospital.

I booked some vacation for my family once through a secondary website (which I suspect maybe also used another secondary one), and their flight got delayed 24 hours whatever reasons and they spent the entire time in the airport. Haven’t been here for a few years and holy FUCK the konbini have been JEETED. Even rural Hokkaido you can’t escape these rancid street shitters. This is probably going to be my last time here since it’s only going to get worse, got three months on the bike so probably going to knock off the last of the stuff I want to do and bid farewell.

>visiting in winter will negatively impact my experience
Maybe if you really hate the cold. Ive only been in the winter but if you bring a good jacket its fine. I am wondering how much different the vibe is during other seasons

So whats my best options for wanting to spend a week or two soaking in Onsens but not blowing loads of Yen??? Is going to Beppu my best bet? I am also interested in going to a "medicinal onsen". Which would be nice to do so with cheaper lodging or something more poorfag friendly

Usually just the same way you would book if its a direct flight.
Like the "sister flight" will still be related to the main company you buy direct from and you will deal with them if shit cancels etc
At least that how it works when I book Delta and then a connecting flight is KLM

like this anon said airlines have companies they partner with. i booked a united flight and got an ANA flight back from tokyo, these were all booked through the united site, one flight itinerary, open jaw flight.

all you need to do is put in your starting airport, and where you want to land tokyo or Osaka. i like non-round trips because you dont need to go back to tokyo to depart.

I've taken a round trip from tokyo and a non round, leaving from fukuoka.
I think i prefer the tokyo round trip because its cheaper, and step 1 of any flight out of japan is usually to stop by tokyo first anyway. So i may as well shinkansen to tokyo from osaka and fly from there, instead of flying out of osaka.

I also just looked up a different airline that's cheaper and does have good flights directly from their website, so i think i'll go for that.

Yokozuna Sadanoyama of the time appeared in the film with his lines.
You can also see the actual match between Kotozakura who later became yokozuna and Fujinishiki.

Maybe the calorie mate and vitamin drinks helped, I have no idea what they were but they looked appealing.

In Katsuura City, the highest temperature on the 5th was 29.9°C. Since observations began in 1906, there has never been a record of a scorching day reaching 35°C or higher. This is said to be due to the cold seawater of Katsuura Bay, making air conditioning unnecessary.

I had to line up at 7:00 for Comiket (which is 2-3 days in a row) and usually left at 17:00, backpack filled with porn mags, sweaty, tired and sore from being shoved around by waves of otaku all day. The last thing I felt like doing was go to a restaurant.
The taste and diversity of selection in konbinis is so much better than my home country though, it was a delight to taste so many different things. If you live there all the time you get bored of it eventually I guess, but I was just a passing tourist so even convenience store meals were fun.

Climate is more than just latitude anon. It's also influenced by ocean currents, winds, etc.

For example the Gulf stream of warm water from the Caribbean keeps the UK from not being like Northern Arctic Canada. Otherwise the UK would be frozen solid at that latitude. I am sure a similar phenomena is at play in Japan but I am no expert either.

Now that I'm looking at my map closely, as I wait for the timer to allow me to post, I noticed that in fact the latitude of Hokkaido isn't even that extreme.

>booking hotels in Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo, and maybe Osaka while also visiting Nara
You are trying to cover too much, you won't enjoy any of the places you visit and you will feel your trip is more of a chore than a vacation. I'd suggest to only visit one city. Tokyo would do if you want to see anime shit and have everything at hand. Kyoto are for history otakus, Osaka if you want a bootleg Tokyo and Sapporo if you want the Alaska >:( Alaska, Japan :O
