I don't get the point of this show. Every episode is literally the exact same plot with different characters and locations. The gimmick that the story is built around (main character having an uncanny ability to smell when people are lying or bullshitting in some way) never fucking works as advertised: the MC routinely fails to notice when someone is blatantly lying by omission or dancing around the truth by using "technically true" statements in a way to muddy the water, and generally puts her trust into the sketchiest fuckers imaginable. As usual for a Ryan "Reddit" Johnson production, it's all style and no substance whatsoever. Shit acting, even shittier writing, but it has le film grain and le 70's aesthetics so it's cool!

At least, Natasha Lyonne is pretty good an likeable, despite looking and sounding like a 90 year old jewish porn producer.
