What does it have that the original doesn't? What does it add? Going from a comic to anime adds movement, audio, editing. Going from anime to live action doesn't add anything besides a realistic aesthetic, which if anything detracts from the original show as everything is bound to a realistic filter.

It makes sense for the studios to make it, as it's free brand recognition, but there's honestly no reason for anyone to ever watch it.

I finally checked out the first episode of this and I don't get why it was so praised. It looks and feels exactly like live action Bebop. Everything is cringe and looks cheap.
