One Piece exists right now. You can watch 1,000+ episodes of it. Why in the world would anyone wait years to watch a watered down version?
What does it have that the original doesn't? What does it add? Going from a comic to anime adds movement, audio, editing. Going from anime to live action doesn't add anything besides a realistic aesthetic, which if anything detracts from the original show as everything is bound to a realistic filter.
It makes sense for the studios to make it, as it's free brand recognition, but there's honestly no reason for anyone to ever watch it.
