I had to sit here and think on my opinion, but I agree with you. I have no idea. The man is fascinating in that he lacks emotions or even personhood. You think his deliveries are stilted and lifeless because he’s a bad actor? You watch the Behind the Scenes and that’s actually just how he is. It’s eerie, like he’s an insect wearing human skin.

I can't even enjoy most of Breen's films ironically like The Room. They're that fucking bad.

Actual good-bad movies like The Room are pretty rare. Usually bad movies are just miserable. It takes a very specific cocktail of culture clash, autism, incompetence and in the right places just a slight amount of skill or talent to get something like The Room or Samurai Cop or Plan 9. It's really hard to make a good bad movie, that's also why it almost always fails when people try to make a so-bad-it's-good movie on purpose
