I'm fairly certain with the way this is phrased as Mel Brooks returning as Yogurt and not Mel Brooks returning to direct plus his retirement it's not featuring him in any meaningful production role. I don't particularly find 1 funny(but not as bad as Men In Tights) so it's not a huge hit to the odds of a funny movie for me but I also wonder why you'd bother to do it at all without his name as a director.
