Will mma replace boxing as the kino combat sport?
Sadly. I remember Southpaw being okay. But I might be misremembering
For a while it seemed like it, but post 2010s mma seems to be on a decline itself
Probably not, but boxing is only good for movies set in the 30s-70s, a boxing movie post 80s is gay, it makes for more kino when the time period was poorer and the mob would fix all the fights.
>>211382002 (OP)Anon, boxing (faggot sport) was never on top
boxing is kino though. mma is men wrestling on the floor while joe rogan describes whats going on. pretty gay
>>211382002 (OP)we still havent got an mma kino
>>211382002 (OP)Boxing has way more.. je ne sais quoi?
Boxing works better for movies because it's easier to frame the action with emotional weight since no strikes come from below the belt.
>>211382346Yeah I can't really explain it but MMA feels very low class
>>211382002 (OP)Boxing has history which MMA canโt compete with. There are countless boxing classics with their own nicknames that were played in some of the biggest entertainment venues of the world.
This event ruined boxing's reputation forever. Nobody takes it seriously now
>>211382002 (OP)As a sport it already did that long ago. No one knows anything about boxing the last 20 years. For movies? Never
