Probably not, but boxing is only good for movies set in the 30s-70s, a boxing movie post 80s is gay, it makes for more kino when the time period was poorer and the mob would fix all the fights.

Boxing works better for movies because it's easier to frame the action with emotional weight since no strikes come from below the belt.
