As if we couldn't tell that Warner Bros reused the King Shark model, just sized him up and added horns and a tail. They're some of the cheapest and laziest in the industry, and they do it so often it's hard not to take notice.

They reused Godzilla's model in Mortal Kombat for Reptile, Ghidorah was just Smaug with three heads, and any time they need a big humanoid monster they just reuse the LOTR troll model like what they did for Doomsday in BvS.

I get movies are expensive, but it'd be forgivable if they weren't so fucking lazy with the designs.

To be fair there aren't that many creature looks in the first place if you want to keep a basic beat them up story line. The troll, the lizard, the robot, the zombie and so on. Blame the writers for it more than the CGI team.

I dunno maybe I'm just getting old but watching the trailer for this made me long for simpler times. Like remember the original movie where it was all really character focused and kinda slow and dramatic? There was that great little scene of Superman flying Lois around the city and you can hear John Williams amazing score in the background. Now Superman is flying around and lasering 100 Lex Luthor goons with mech suits then Lois is flying around with the Daily Planet crew in a spaceship and there's 15 other superheroes flying around and cracking jokes with Superman's dog who's also flying around. It's all so exhausting.
