Please don't compare AOT (which was kino up till the final chapter) to GoT which was a horrible trainwreck for at least 2 or 3 seasons prior to the finale

I didn't enjoy AOT

It felt unpleasant to watch even in the first season

When the first few episodes of AoT came out, I dropped it because Eren seemed annoying. Having been spoiled on the whole series now, some of the later revelations about the rest of the world and the rumbling seem pretty cool. But holy shit, that future memories/time loop stuff sounds horrendous.

Didn't the show already cover that material long before AoT did it? Like with the "hold the door" scene?
It's crazy how that franchise still did it first despite the actual source material being way behind.

GoT was a slow but steady drop in quality with a nosedive, head first into a concrate sidewalk by the end. AoT has several switch ups in the story keeping it consistently interesting and the drop in quality (both plot wise, animation wise and otherwisewise) was more abrupt near the end. I actually dropped both near the end and havent bothered to finish them.

This guy's two parter on AoT is a better ending by far even if it's too convoluted in some places and his Mikasa handling felt too fanficy after a certain point. You do however have to stomach the fact he's an insufferable cringe soi with an annoying faggot voice and the dialogue he writes is eh but still better than the bullshit we actually got

I am anime only so as much as I agree it was shit I recently discovered how much worse it was for mangabros because the creator teased the final panel years ago, with what was obviously Eren and Historia's child before retconning it to Grisha, where him saying "You're free" makes zero sense.

I liked the ending of Attack on Titan. Eren won hundreds years of peace for his people. There has never been a time in human history where peace has gone on that long. War, death and destruction was inevitable, he just postponed it so many generations could live a life of peace.

My favorite part of AoT is when Eren gets mad that Mikasa might be with another guy. It's hilarious and reminds me of how weird guys are about relationships.

Only Zeke, Levi, Eren (basically because of his time skip self), and Reiner were the only characters I actually liked and gave a shit about lol. This is a recurring thing for me with animes I do watch, or the single manga I ever read: Berserk. I fundamentally do not relate to people saying they cried over the BoH dying. It was a great bit of fiction but crying over these non-characters? These window dressing entities? Never. I felt nothing when that dumb bitch Sasha died and never gave two shits about Connie, Hange (hated her in fact, so annoying), Erwin, Jean, etc. Armin MAY have been a character I liked but he was designed to look way too gay and in the English dub his voice was annoying and faggy throughout, so didn't like him

They don't even compare. GoT was a clusterfuck with no finished source material to fall back on until this very day, and probably never will. Almost everyone shit talks the final seasons and the ending.

AoT was only hated by people retarded and sexless enough to self insert as Eren, so they had a melty when he turned out to be a cuck because they took it as a personal attack. They were overly invested in a single character that didn't go they way they wanted to go. Talk to anyone that wasn't watching the show or reading the manga as an Eren self insert and you'll find they have an entirely different opinion on the ending.

AoT's ending was good, it just triggered all the chuds who thought Eren was their based nazi genius. Most people liked it, unlike GoT.

But him and Mikasa is a dumb romance, I didn't even really consider the Historia angle till watching the manga readers rip the ending a part.

Is there any evidence of this? Time skip Eren got his own cult of personality thing going on cause he was cool and designed to look cool but who the hell self inserted? He is too far removed from reality unlike Travis Bickle or Tyler Durden's rants against modernity.
