Why does nobody remember this? About equal to, or better than Superman III and easily better than anything Superman on the big screen since.

She was the perfect Supergirl, but the story was absolute nonsense and made so little logical sense. Also Max Headroom and another guy trying to rape her in a dark alley? This was supposed to be a kids movie.

Good supporting cast. Peter Otoole even, though he was really down and out near the end. It wasn't until years later I realized he was Lawrence of Arabia.
