There's a threshold of stupidity, for the sake of comedy, that most viewers can take. This sequel moved beyond that threshold unfortunately, for the vast majority of the viewership.
I liked it, but I totally understand why most hate it. For me the Tyler Perrt comedies are beyond what I can take, I hate them, and yet, those films have a massive audience.

Son of Mask has literally 1 thing in the entire thing that made me laugh.
The prequels are great...in the grand scheme of media. The tens of thousands of shitty independent films, put the PT in the great tier, by default.
