I felt very mixed on it when I watched a few months ago but I can’t stop thinking about. A very layered ambitious film with lots of memorable stuff. Definitely gonna end up watching the extended version at some point.

The 1910s parts with the street kids was my favorite part. They could have done a full four hour movie exploring growing up in such a messed up world. The movie was still good but I think it lost a little when it became Robert De Niro wandering around looking withdrawn or nostalgic.
