It was awesome, couldn’t have ended in a better way. Watched Rogue One right after and it’ still a good movie, but Andor’s character feels a bit different in it and the supporting crew is seriously lacking compared to the characters in the show.

I liked that it was about a paranoic murderer who always looked behind but it was a shitty show otherwise.

It’s refreshing to see writers and actors honor George’s legacy instead of hijacking and subverting it. That’s my main takeaway, that people really wanted to be there and put in their best effort.

In fact they probably killed ALL the evaded men they caught and even those that didn't escape to make sure no one in the next batch would believe an evasion was possible. It's safer and simpler for the Empire.

Season 2 was a bit of a drop off from 1 but still enjoyed it overall. Season 1 just had such great contained arcs.

Krennic flopped in S2. He had non of the presence and charisma he had in Rogue One. His character carried Rogue One. His scenes in Andor were boring. Especially that scene where they removed the listening device. The setup for that...having to do a minor heist in the background with Mothma, Lucien, and Krennic all the same room was great. Then...nothing. It was just a boring scene of some very generic political talk between Mothma and Krennic while some chick uses a screw driver. Krennic and Lucien never interacted.

It doesn't fit with Rogue One. Watching Rogue One after Andor makes Rogue One feel like a campy cartoon. They should have just replaced Andor with someone original.

There has been an understandable wave of "not watching Disney slop" posts. Which is fair, but the fact that something actually good came out of that fucking company in particular is a miracle and I hope people will give it a chance eventually.

I felt the opposite, the first two episodes of S2 are completely pointless and a waste of time, felt like they didn't have enough story to stretch across 12 episodes. Either way, there were pacing issues for sure. But overall, it was breddy gud but S1 is way better than S2.

I feel like a lot of people are taking the wrong lessons from Andor. It wasn't good because it ditched lightsabers, the force, etc. It was good because it had good actors, good special effects, etc. unlike all the other Star Wars slop that feels cheap and quickly put together.
