6 is because of le epic meta humor, 4 is because it’s a really solid slasher movie that basically encapsulates what the genre was about

I honestly don't know. They're all kinda the same movie to me. Sometimes Jason is alive, sometimes he's an unkillable zombie, sometimes he's a worm. All that matters to me is they consist of at least 60% filler scenes implied to be adding tension but you're just waiting for one of the obnoxious cookie cutter characters to get killed.

Part 6 has a terrific opening. It's so crazy, you can see the filmmakers enjoyed writing the events. But it kinda falters due to choosing to be too original and not include any nudity.
To me, A New Beginning is the best one. Sure, it's mainly due to Debisue Voorhees but then again, hot naked babes is a major reason you watch these movies and if you don't admit that then you're not honest.

Didn't say that. Friday the 13th series aren't good movies. They could've been but the filmmakers focused on the "selling" stuff (gore/nudity) so that's what you're looking for. I prefer tits over blood but I cause murderers like you can never get enough gore which is why some prefer part 6 over part 5.
