They wouldn't use windows, aside from in the stupidly placed bridges, but they should have a plethora of sensors and cameras to cover every angle.

>Luthen: Can't imagine what?
>Andor: That someone like me would ever get inside their house, walk their floors, spit in their food, take their gear.
>Luthen: The arrogance is remarkable, isn't it? They don't even think about us.

That's why.

dunno if you ever read the EU but there was a Sun Crusher ship that was a fairly small ship but shot stuff into stars that would start a chain reaction causing the star to explode, taking out the entire solar system.

Considering the size of it you'd be better off having vantage points towards the tail end of the ship looking to the rear and reporting back to the bridge.

It doesn't help that Star Destroyers are these big massive ships that carry their own contingent of ground forces and fighter wings when naval destroyers were relatively smaller and mobile

>Sequel trilogy come out.
>"Why couldn't the villains in the sequels have basic competency like the calm menacing villains of the first 6 movie episodes?"

>Andor comes out.
>"Why couldn't the original Empire have basic competency like this foreboding bureaucratic version of the Empire?"

Expectations have moved.

Did ya'll forget the entire point of the scene is they thought they jumped into hyperspace and were gone?

What the fuck would they be scanning behind themselves for when they're pretty sure it's going in the other fucking direction faster than the speed of light
