Why he will be the only character that doesn't get fucking ruined. At least visually leave the memories of Dewey in the past. Who knows what even sounds like nowadays. Do you want to hear just a random adult man being Dewey even if he was dewey? I dunno the charm of deweys character is that he is a child I could care less what kind of adult he frew up to be.
I'd argue the reboot shouldnt even happen but thats my take
