Tbf it all happened insanely fast. Took the money, stashed it quickly, went back to the site, chased and shot, the chase doesn't stop, sugar is activated, money stashed again, he barely escapes, gives money to wife, dies. When did he even have a moment to do anything other than focus on survival

The first thing I would have done is counted the money then seen the track. If go to a gas station with trucks and throw the tracker on it then go the other way with the money, drove to a an airport and flown to Hawaii

I don't think a cartel would try very hard to retrieve say $2k, or punish someone who took it, maybe more. But the whole $2million? Fucking crazy thing to do, without any sort of very well thought out intelligent plan.

Even if he just took half of it nobody would've found him. The tracker was almost at the bottom of the bag. The cartel would've noticed missing cash but its not like anybody would be looking for him
