>>211480313 (OP)I found it unrealistic that Richard Wang could save himself from a 50-foot fall using a pair of chattering teeth attached to a slinky. I do not believe that the chattering teeth could accomplish a bite force onto a stone surface that would overcome his downward acceleration due to gravity, especially after having fallen for several seconds by that point. There is also no indication of what kind of propellant he must have used in order to launch the teeth upward fast enough to affix to the stalactite ceiling before he himself hit the bottom, is such propellant would actually cause him to fall faster. Furthermore, the average Slinky from that era was only able to be extended about 15 ft before it began to deform, he would have needed at least four of them chained together and I do not believe that his weight could have been supported by 6 mm band of spring steel.
