Literally everyone that has watched this movie wants a sequel and has been begging for one. Everyone that made this movie has been begging to make another one.
Getting a sequel is looking like a snowball's chance in hell.
The movie bombed while in theaters, no one knew it had released, it was a limited release only showing in a few theaters, and it was in 3D when people were getting tired of 3D films.
Blade and Dredd the two most anticipated super hero movies are not going to happen because they aren't capeshit.

Judge Dredd would work great as a tv show. Make it about the Total War pro-democracy terrorist organization vs. the Justice Department. Both sides morally grey, to say the least, for engaging drama. Ensemble cast (just don't make Dredd the protagonist).

I don't want one now because I don't trust them not to fuck it up or turn it into woke trash.

It's never going to happen, you guys. Just be grateful it got made at all. I say that regardless of the fact I dislike it as an adaptation but recognize its quality as a film regardless and what it was attempting to do with the Dredd property and how it reworked it, just dislike it as a 1:1 adaptation which it was clearly never meant to be but that's fine. I'd like the Stallone film with a darker edge and no mask-off.
