Then no weyland-yutani. There's literally zero reason to connect this to Alien whatsoever. Make it its own series and it's free to be set wherever, whenever, and do whatever it wants instead of being hard constrained to Alien the entire time.

That's too silly and keeps the movie low brow like Prometheus turned out. Alien was more in the direction of hard sci-fi in at least space was stupidly big and they were really far out away from Earth. It took forever to get anywhere and communication took forever. It's only as more movies got added did everything continually get sped up so it's essentially star trek and everyone can get everywhere in a few hours. Which also made it worse and worse.

What is Prometheus' role in all of this? Just by the name, it implies that they took life-creating/intelligence secrets from the Engineers and used it for which they will now be punished. That part was never really expanded on in Ridley's movie either.

the autistic savant is like the christian shaw in prometheus finding her gods, he's extremely curious when it comes to musical composition but struggles with human feelings.
its still meeting your creators except the low iq jesus was an alien idea is thrown away and humanity realises everything about human life is truly artificially meaningless and exists just as an incomprehensible hurtbox, xenos could be vaguely referred or be present, but it should tone down the played out slasher genre massively.

they don't have to teleport there, these are just concepts for a plot. they could be in a dormant state nearby woken up by a signal, perhaps a space jockey ship specifically grown for that purpose, with sleeping engineers on board.
or on the planet itself hidden.
